About GAETSS
A consultancy called Immersive Technology Strategies was founded in 2011 by David Wortley after he left his role as the Founding Director of the Serious Games Institute (SGI) at Coventry University. Over the ensuing period David has travelled extensively to speak at major international conferences and share future visions about the potential of those technologies which most engage our attention and influence our development, motivation, attitudes and opinions.
In late 2013, David recognised that the behavioural psychology behind “serious games” was at least as important as the immersive technologies and that crucial new technology developments in “the internet of things” would make the process of Gamification a power for disruptive change and competitive advantage. In June 2014 we show this in GAETSS by the change to Enabling Technologies
