Short Biography


I am a commercially aware creative Game Designer with 20+ years experience developing games, inventing game concepts and new IP for international brands including SpongeBob, Bratz and Puss in Boots for clients including Intel, Sony, Activision and Dreamworks.

I have extensive software development process experience including the creation of app, game and art technology prototypes, 12 published games as an art and design content creator and game team development support on many projects.

I have a wide-ranging knowledge and understanding of game genres, systems and mechanics, user experience, agile development pipelines, monetization & business models, game and brand development and new IP creation.
 

Above all I'm dedicated to the business of creating games.


CURRENT INTERESTS:


1. What current technologies and tools fulfill your needs in your practice?


Wacom tablets, Touch screens, PC hardware – Unity, AR & VR, Autodesk & Adobe Creative Suite


2. What technologies do you see emerging in the next 5-10 years?


VR and AR, Oculus, Blended solutions (real & virtual)

Safety, motion sickness, unforeseen issues

Less of a gap today, better communication, social media
