Gamification Cycle
The Gamification Cycle is a process which determines the outcomes and effectiveness of Gamification Strategies. It breaks down our activities into a series of steps which, to be sustainable, need to continuously loop and, with each iteration, change and development can take place.
At the centre of the Gamification Cycle is an individual or set of individuals who interact with their environment by responding to challenges and/or opportunities, measuring and analysing the impact of those responses and, from the ensuing feedback are presented with fresh challenges and/or opportunities. We become motivated to develop and continuously improve as long as each of the stages in the cycle are attractive, accessible and affordable.
